waterworks is a tool that aims to make shorter the huge hole when we
talk about Webdesign in Linux
Extremaly simple, waterworks uses famous applications such Inkscape and ImageMagick to produce the
layout
you want trought a SVG file , where you create your site, define slices
trought guide-lines an link buttons with special
rectangles.
You must also export PNGs for the site imagens and for the onmouseover
and onmouseup features it it is applicable.
It generates the html code ready to go, export all images and saves the
results in a specified folder.
Light and easy-to-use, waterworks is releases under GNU licence, and
you can download the source-code wich was made in Gambas.
The software requires that you have installed in your computer the
Linux operational system and Inkscape, ImageMagick and Gambas, a
programming language IDE, all also released as free software.
Feel free to study the code and correct eventuals bugs and / or make
the software better, but remenber to share all
the enhancements and corrections with
all open-source comunity, so all can use'em and we can contribuite with
the Linux use in professional produtivity ^_^b.
